XOR the indices, not the bit values
Sample seven independent fair bits at labelled positions1 through7. XOR the position indices whose bits are1 to obtain the three-bit syndrome. Only syndrome0 qualifies: raw score then equals the number of set bits. The all-zero word still scores0; every other syndrome scores0. The program samples the bits; players do not select them. One whole captured stake covers the board without row shares.
Set indices1,2,3 give1 XOR 2 XOR 3=0 and score3. Set indices1,2 give syndrome3 and score0. All seven set indices give syndrome0 and score7. All bits zero have syndrome0 but raw score0. Syndrome0 does not alone imply positive credit.
Raw scores0,3,4,7 have respective counts113,7,7,1. Fifteen words score positively and113 score zero. Weighting powers do not change positive-result frequency. A positive gross credit may be below the stake and need not be a net gain. Earlier words do not predict future independent fair bits.
For p=1,2,3, gross multiplier=0.96×rawScore^p/mean(rawScore^p). The exact unconditional means are0.4375,1.75,7.65625. Each mode has96% expected gross credit of captured stake, not winning frequency, final-wallet guarantee or a profit strategy. Zero stays zero. Squared and cubed mean powers, not multiplication by2 or3.
The finite virtual wallet
A new browser wallet starts at 1000 virtual coins. Settled integer balance and fractional payout carry are saved in localStorage. A gross credit is added to any saved fraction; the integer part is credited and the remaining fraction is carried forward. These coins have no cash value, deposits, withdrawals or prizes. Storage belongs to this browser and origin, not to an account or an external payment balance.
